Whether it’s iron ore for the booming China market or grain and timber from
North America, Lauritzen Bulkers leads the way. We specialise in ocean
transport of dry bulk cargo – it’s all we do, and we do it well. With
operations conducted from our Copenhagen headquarters and supported by
offices in Singapore and Stamford, Connecticut (US), Lauritzen Bulkers has
the experience, expertise and equipment necessary to expedite bulk
transport to and from virtually any spot on the globe.
We operate owned and long-term charter vessels as well as vessels taken on
for single trips only. The majority of vessels in our modern fleet are
grab-fitted Handysize and Handymax bulk carriers, although we are also
increasing our presence in the Panamax and Capesize markets. With
self-loading and discharging capabilities, Lauritzen Bulkers vessels can
readily respond even to burgeoning markets with ports still in development.
J. Lauritzen increases newbuilding program in bulk, gas and product tank
Lauritzen Bulkers has signed a newbuilding contract for two additional
180,000 dwt Capesize bulk carriers from Hyundai Heavy Industries in Korea
for delivery in 2011.
